How to Make Lobster Tails on the Blackstone
Start by splitting the shell with kitchen shears and pulling out the meat but leaving it connected to the shell.
Our grill temperature was around 275 degrees F.
We brushed each one with melted garlic butter and seasoned it before placing it onto preheated grates of the grill.
Close the lid and let them cook for about 10 minutes.
Open the lid and flip them over for another 10 minutes.
Rotate them from the sides into the middle for more even cooking.
After the 10 minutes are up, check to see if the shells are red and the meat is cooked through.
Notes
- Do not overcook them as they will become rubbery if you do.
- Brush with more garlic butter immediately before flipping.
What to Serve With Grilled Lobster Tails
We also made grilled Blackstone shrimp skewers, steamed crab legs, green beans, Asparagus, and Blackstone Fireball Pineapples.
Green Beans, Asparagus, & Garden Salad
Our main course was finished but we didn’t forget about the sides!
To complete our seafood meal we served Blackstone Asparagus, and green beans sautéed over medium-high heat in butter until crisp-tender along with bacon and onions.
Leave Room for Blackstone Dessert
We made sure everyone had enough room to enjoy our final course, dessert, Blackstone Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. (recipe coming soon)
It was baked directly on the Blackstone Griddle. A welcome treat after all that savory cooking.
Sweet Fireball pineapple rings topped with brown sugar and maraschino cherries sitting atop a fluffy yellow cake drenched in its own juices making it taste even better than ever, what more could you ask for?
